North American Examinations (GED, TOEFL, SAT)

 

SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)

The SAT  is an exam for students hoping to study in universities in the United States of America. The Examination is taken six (6) times in a year typically in January, May and June, October, November, and December. EPP registers students for ALL SAT examinations year-round. Registration for SAT preparation at IDMANN EPP typically starts six months ahead of the intended examination date. The core subject areas are shown below.

Students are able to use the 'live testing' capabilities of our online platform to practice and improve their performance before the examination. Students that register in EPP gain access to the relevant  material in these modules.

Students are able to take online tests under timed conditions and are able to discuss their performance (over time) with their instructor(s). Furthermore, students get direct feedback on areas of weakness and are able to focus their studying on the areas needed for maximum improvement. TOEFL (Test of English As A Foreign Language)

TOEFL is a test to measure the English language ability of non-native speakers wishing to enroll in American universities. The test is accepted by many English-speaking academic and professional institutions. Knowledge/skills tested in TOEFL include reading, listening, speaking and writing of the English language. EPP assists students to prepare for all these sections of the test. It is comparable to the IELTS. Typically registration starts six months ahead of the intended examination date.

The GED is a high-school equivalency examination that covers five test areas - science, mathematics, social studies, reading, and writing. The GED provides high school equivalency testing for candidates in the US and Canada. The GED can be taken as an online test.
